Corn Mazes around Halloween time are fun but very challenging. Haunted Houses are fun but very scary. Trick-or-Treat is fun but you have to be very careful when crossing the street, especially when it’s dark.
Nothing, however, beats the fun you can have at the Swanton Lions Club Halloween Hoopla which is held during the day right in the middle of Downtown Swanton. Main Street is blocked off so you can go back and forth from business to business getting free candy, popcorn from the Lions, hot dogs from Benfield Wines and donuts from the Swanton Fire & Rescue Department. You can also jump on several different bouncy houses and ride pedal cars all while showing off you great costume.
This year’s Halloween Hoopla is now over and if you missed it, we are sorry. So, when the weather starts to get colder after next summer, be sure to ask around and find out exactly what day and time the 2027 Halloween Hoopla will be. We gaurentee, like always, a great time.
