On Monday afternoon at the Swanton Sports Center, both Evergreen and Swanton opened the NWOAL bowling season with the Vikings taking both boys and girls matches.  Thomas Baker rolled a two-game series score of 342 to lead the Vikings over the Bulldogs 2105-1632.  Swanton’s Conor Yates led all boy bowlers with a 369 series.  Appollonna Roesner had a two-game series score of 377 to carry the Lady Vikings over the Lady Bulldogs 1809-1082.  Emma Leonard bowled a two-game series of 274 for Swanton. 

Evergreen Vikings:  Thomas Baker (164 + 178 = 342), Elliot Prescott (160 + 179 = 339), Xaviar Robinette (163 + 161 = 324), Colton Ruby (138 + 145 = 283), Owen Dohrmann (155), Cohen Myers (127), Baker Games (193 + 197 + 145 = 535)   Total = 2105

Swanton Lady Bulldogs:  Emma Leonard (124 + 150 = 274), Lily Gaschge (106 + 113 = 219), Ksenia Veilkoglo (72 + 94 = 166), Amelia Stanton (30 + 82 = 117), Baker Games (85 + 106 + 120 = 311)   Total = 1082

For the record:  The Lady Bulldogs were unable to field a full team of five bowlers for this match.
