Once again, the Fulton County Habitat for Humanity (FCHH) has partnered with local businesses to build playhouses for local families during the Fulton County Fair.  On Saturday, August 30th, North Star BlueScope Steel and State Farm/New Horizons Academy sponsored two (2) playhouses.  The following Tuesday, September 2nd, North Star sponsored two (2) more playhouses, making their all-time sponsorships = 12 playhouses!  Woodforest Bank and Nature Fresh Farms each sponsored one (1) playhouse, making each of their all-time sponsorships = three (3).  Habitat has built 45 playhouses in five (5) years, serving 106 children so far.

Heidi Kern, FCHH Executive Director, commented in her press release, “I’m available for questions at 419-583-6723.”  She also referenced a recipient Mom whose family received a playhouse a few years ago.  “Her husband has volunteered to build playhouse since with North Star’s team,” said Heidi.  “This year, their 12-year-old daughter volunteered with her dad and built a playhouse for another family.”
