The visiting Delta Lady Panthers outscored the Evergreen Lady Vikings 12-0 in the opening quarter then played even ball with the home team the rest of the way in a 43-30 NWOAL victory Friday night at the “Big House.”  It was déjà vu all over again as the Lady Panthers were making their second appearance at Evergreen in two weeks and won by an identical 13 points, a 35-22 score in their first meeting.

Delta junior Keagyn Gillen led a balanced scoring Panther offense with 10 points.  Kendall Sprow and Addison Wyse had eight points each and Abbey Todd scored seven.  Evergreen sophomore Lanae Manz topped all players with 14 points and Bailey Lumbrezer added eight.

The Lady Vikings drop to 1-1 in the NWOAL and 6-6 overall.  The will next travel to Otsego on Tuesday, January 7^th, to play against the Lady Knights.  Combined with today’s road victory over the Stryker Lady Panthers, Delta remains undefeated at 10-0 and 1-0 in the league.  In the game at Stryker, Addison Wyse had 20 points and Anna Lohman had 14.  They will stay on the road for their next game against the Lake Lady Flyers, also on Tuesday.
