Ella Rhoades of Wauseon Wins NWOAL Girls Cross Country Title

With of a time of 18:28.04, Wauseon junior Ella Rhoades out ran the rest of the field of 57 runners to capture the NWOAL Girls Cross Country Individual Championship held at Swanton High School last Saturday morning.  Rhoades crossed the finish line well ahead of Delta senior Josilyn Welch (18:40.84), Patrick Henry junior Mia Amador (18:53.58), Bryan senior Kate Thormeier (19:12.99) and Bryan junior Nicolette Stickney (19:27.46) to round out the top five finishers.

The Lady Patriots of Patrick Henry took home the NWOAL Girls Cross Country Team Championship with the low score of 50 points.  They were followed by Liberty Center Lady Tigers (70), Archbold Lady Blue Streaks (76), Delta lady Panthers (91), Bryan Lady Golden Bears (117), Wauseon Lady Indians (132), Swanton Lady Bulldogs (175), Evergreen Lady Vikings (192).
