Playing their final regular season volleyball game at home, the Swanton Lady Bulldogs defeated the visiting Northwood Lady Rangers 3-0 on Senior Night.  Following a tightly contested 25-22 win in the first game, Swanton junior Lexi Faber began the second game with 13 consecutive successful serves, leading the Lady Bulldogs to a 25-8 victory.  The final game was slightly closer with Swanton winning 25-10.

The win improves the Lady Bulldogs’ record to 18-4 on the season.  They also finished with a 6-1 league record, good for second place in the NWOAL behind the 7-0 Archbold Lady Blue Streaks.  Swanton now begins State Tournament play and is scheduled to meet the Otsego Lady Knights at Archbold High School on October 17^th at 6:00 pm in the first round of Districts.
