Evergreen’s First Half Blitz Takes Down Swanton

The Evergreen Lady Vikings scored the first 11 points of the game en route to a 29-8 halftime lead and defeated the visiting Swanton Lady Bulldogs 44-19 in a non-league contest.  The second half was more closely contested with Evergreen outscoring Swanton 15-11, but the Vikings’ dominance was never really challenged.  The wide margin in the fourth quarter allowed both coaches to substitute liberally.
